Open Forum meetings are being introduced by Kirsty & Michelle so members and visitors can share resources, ideas, tips and experiences instead of a speaker slot. So in September it would be great if you came along and had some views on:
Tax allowances and relief for business
- Do you know what are 'allowable' and 'non allowable' business expenses?
- Do you understand the basics of capital allowances?
- If VAT registered, have you explored the flat rate scheme?
- Is it best to claim vehicle expenses including petrol against your business or simply charge a mileage allowance?
- Do you have any tips that your fellow Ellevate members could benefit from?
We hope that this has stimulated a few thoughts for you and that you can share some of your own great tips and also get some great ideas from your fellow members that you can implement in your business.
Meeting fees:
Meeting fee for non-members: £22.00
Meeting fee for members: £17.00
Yearly membership: £65.00 + £25 joining fee
All fees include a buffet lunch and refreshments and fantastic networking opportunities so as well as picking up valuable (and really useful!) business tips, you will also enjoy friendly and effective networking with like-minded businesswomen to help your business grow!
