You will be writing and roleplaying your own elevator pitch so you can take it away with you, rehearse and refine it.

Last Employed Role: Development Consultant, St. James’s Place (SJP), Cirencester.
Having spent most of her professional life in Financial Services, Gillian’s initial aim was for Blenheim Learning Ltd. to provide bespoke learning, coaching and project management to practitioners and leaders in that industry across England and Wales.
However, much of the work that Gillian has undertaken is transferrable across a wide range of sectors. For example, Blenheim Learning has already designed and delivered presentation skills workshops for an IT Search and Selection company.
Who is Gillian Farkas-Blake?
Gillian has a degree in Applied Psychology and Sociology, is a PRINCE2 Practitioner and has a wealth of experience as a sales trainer and coach.
Her 15 years’ experience as a learning and development professional includes:
- Project managing the implementation, design and rollout of key learning and development initiatives for Friends Provident, Zurich Financial Services and St. James’s Place;
- Coaching and mentoring;
- Helping salespeople become better business people;
- All aspects of sales skills training;
- Carrying out training needs analyses and training evaluations;
- Designing and delivering a variety of different training methods and materials;
- Acting as a subject matter expert for pre- and at- retirement financial planning.
She is a Web Tutor for the Institute of Financial Services and a Lead Tutor for the Chartered Insurance Institute.
