Event bookings: cancellation
If, after booking a place for an event, you are unable to attend it, you may provide a substitute to attend on your behalf. No refunds are offered once an event has been booked (except as detailed below).

Event bookings: entitlement
Booking, and paying for, an event entitles you to take part in the advertised proceedings. Ellevate cannot be held responsible for any accident, injury, or health problem (e.g. allergic reaction) suffered by any person while attending an event.

Event bookings: eligibility
You will be permitted to make a booking for an event if you are an Ellevate member, or if you have registered an account on the website. Please note that any such account must be upgraded to full Ellevate membership after bookings for two separate events have been made (conferences excepted). Ellevate members will be offered discounted booking rates.

Information and views
Ellevate is neither represented by, nor responsible for, views and information conveyed by any speaker or participant at an event. While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of information supplied on this website, Ellevate cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions in information provided.

Cancellation of an event
Ellevate reserves the right to cancel an event at any time. In the event of such a cancellation occurring, a full refund will be offered in respect of any booking for the event.

Expulsion from events
Ellevate reserves the right to expel any person from an event at any time. No refunds will be offered.

Membership: general
Ellevate membership may be purchased for a period of one year from the date of payment, during which time the member will be entitled to make bookings for events and to access areas of the website reserved for members (e.g., newsletter archive). In the event of a member wishing to cancel their membership, no refunds will be offered.

Membership: conditions
By purchasing Ellevate membership, you certify that you meet the condition for membership of Ellevate, namely that you are a female business owner. If it appears that you do not meet this condition then your membership will be cancelled with no refund given.

Personal data collected by Ellevate, and stored on our database, will be used only for the purpose of providing you with the services associated with Ellevate, namely the opportunity to book attendance at events, to access certain areas of the Ellevate website, to receive information concerning Ellevate, and to have your business information displayed on the Ellevate website. Your data will not be passed on to any third parties, or used for any other commercial purposes. By becoming an Ellevate member, or by registering an account on the website, you agree to our processing of your data for these purposes.
