a little bit of 'info' on your host, Kirsty Paget... Kirsty Paget, host of Ellevate Networking in Salisbury, Wiltshire

First of all I really enjoy running Ellevate Networking with Michelle as each meeting is highly motivating (thanks to all who come along) and I always leave with heaps of enthusiasm so I hope this rubs off on visitors and members alike. In addition to being a Host with Ellevate Networking, I co-own aprompt Limited.

Who is aprompt?

aprompt are website designers and web application developers and we're based at Hampton Park West in Melksham, Wiltshire. We've been designing and developing bespoke CMS websites, eCommerce websites and creating business software (like CRMS, project tracking web apps and complex online systems) since 1998. We pride ourselves on our great customer service, knowing what our clients need and passing on our expert knowledge of design, website software development, search engines and SEO (search engine optimisation) and therefore our clients stay with us for years and years.

My background

I have been a graphic designer since 1988, having a Diploma as well as a City and Guilds in 'Design for Print' and 'Graphic Design and Photography' and ever since I was at school (Luckley-Oakfeld School, Wokingham - which is going back a bit!) I've wanted to have my own design company - at that time the World Wide Web didn't exist so I waited and concentrated on Graphic Design so you could say my dreams came true!

Before aprompt, I worked in various places gaining invaluable experience and getting to know my strengths (ready for aprompt!). I worked either as a graphic designer and/or in press, marketing, pr and process management roles, including some print and design agencies in Woking, Gerrards Cross and London as well as Southern Electric (Press Office), BBC and Haymarket Magazines (Customer Service Supervisor and Process Manager), Ericsson (Project Management), Scott Brownrigg Architects (PR, graphic design and web design), NTL Head office (Web application development, Marketing and Process Management).
